Our workshop is located at G-573 on Road No. 10 in the M.I.A. 2nd Phase of Basni. It’s a bit tucked away, but once you find us, you’ll see we’re always working on something new. We focus on forms and shapes, mostly for display or decorative use. There’s a lot of casting and molding going on here. It can get a bit messy with the plaster and the resins we use. We’ve got shelves lined with different molds we’ve made over the years. Some are for small things and others are quite large. The air smells like paint and chemicals sometimes, so we keep the big fans going. It’s just me and a few others most days. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. If you want to see what we do, you just walk right into the middle of the workspace. We take our time with each piece because if the mold isn't perfect, the whole thing is ruined. It’s a lot of trial and error sometimes. We’ve been in this part of Basni for a while and we know the other shop owners on the street. It’s a hard-working neighborhood. We like the grit of it. Every day is a bit different depending on what a customer needs us to create. We just show up, put on our aprons, and get to work on the next project. We don't mind the dust or the long hours as long as the pieces come out looking right.
