It Gurukul Public Pre Primary School

Our little school is tucked away at Plot No. 238 on Defence Lab Road in the Nehru Colony area of Ratanada. Being in Jodhpur, it gets quite warm, so we spend a lot of time making sure the little ones are comfortable inside. Since we are a pre-primary school, our days are filled with a lot of noise, singing, and basic counting. It’s a very different environment than a high school. We have a lot of toys and colorful posters on the walls to help the kids stay interested in what’s going on. The teachers here have a lot of patience, which they definitely need when dealing with three and four-year-olds all day. We try to keep the place clean, though with small children, there’s always a spill or a mess somewhere. Parents in Ratanada know us as a neighborhood spot where they can drop off their kids and know they’ll be looked after. We don't have any big corporate ideas about education; we just want the kids to learn their ABCs and how to play nicely with each other. The walk up to the school is simple, and we recognize most of the faces in Nehru Colony. It Gurukul Public Pre Primary School is just a small, local place where the day starts with a smile and ends with a lot of tired toddlers heading home to their families.
