Hotel Peppermint

Over here at Hotel Peppermint, we’re located near the Airforce Panch Batti Circle in Jodhpur. It’s a pretty well-known spot in this part of the city. Jodhpur is known for being the Blue City, but out here where we are, it’s mostly just the usual daily hustle and bustle. The hotel has a bit of a modern look compared to some of the really old places in the center, but we still run it like a local shop. There are a few of us who handle everything from the front desk to the kitchen. The sun gets really hot here in Rajasthan, so we spend a lot of time making sure the coolers and ACs are working right. We see a mix of tourists and folks here on business. The rooms are simple and we try to keep the dust out, which is a constant battle in this climate. We don't have a big corporate office or anything; it’s just the owner and a handful of staff making sure the doors stay open. Usually, the evenings are the best time when it cools down a bit and people sit out for a while. It’s not a five-star resort, just a place to stay while you’re passing through. We do our work, talk to the guests, and try to make things go as smoothly as possible.
