Heera Moti Namkeen

Heera Moti Namkeen is based out of H-85 in the Agro Food Park in Boranada. It's a busy zone with a lot of other food businesses nearby. You can usually smell the spices in the air when the fryers are going. We make different kinds of namkeen and snacks throughout the day. The kitchen gets pretty hot, especially during the summer months here in Boranada. We have a routine that we follow every morning to get the oil ready and the ingredients measured out. It’s not a quiet job; there’s always the sound of machines or someone moving heavy sacks of flour. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s a factory space where the real work happens. Sometimes things get a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big batch, but we clean it up before the day ends. We’ve been at this spot for some time now. People who work in the park often stop by. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the snacks taste like they should. Every batch is a bit different depending on the heat or the spices, but we try to keep it consistent. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and lifting things. That is just the way it is in the namkeen business. We keep our heads down and focus on the frying and the packing. It’s a simple living for us all.
