Goyal Namkeen

We have been here at Goyal Namkeen for a while now. Our shop is right on Khari Phatak Road, which stays pretty busy most of the day. You can find us easily because we are near the Union Banks. It’s a busy spot, though the traffic can be a bit much in the evenings. Usually, we start our morning by getting things ready before the heat kicks in. The street outside gets dusty, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases. People coming from the bank often stop by. It’s mostly just us doing the same things every day, frying up batches and packing them into bags. We don’t have any fancy signs, just the name over the door. Sometimes the tea stall next door brings us some chai when it’s slow. We know most of the people who walk past because they live around here or work at the offices. It is not a very big place, but it fits everything we need. We keep the bags stacked up high on the shelves so we can reach them quickly. The fans run all day but it still stays warm in the back where the stove is. That’s just how it is working here in this part of town. We don’t really change much, just keep the snacks ready for whoever walks in. It gets loud when the trains go by nearby, but you get used to that after a week or two. We just stay focused on the work at hand.
