Entertainment Square

Entertainment Square is based in Sardarpura, Jodhpur, right across from the Rajpurohit Hostel on 9th E Road. We are pretty easy to find since we are near the Car Handloom. Our place is usually cluttered with sound mixers, stage lights, and stacks of posters. Jodhpur is a city that loves its celebrations, so we stay busy moving from one spot to another. It is a lot of work to coordinate everything for a show or a party. We spend a lot of time on our phones talking to vendors and making sure the speakers don't blow out during a performance. The sun in Jodhpur is quite harsh, so setting up outdoor stages in the afternoon is probably the toughest part of the job. We aren't some big city agency; we are just local guys who like music and events. Sometimes the equipment acts up because of the dust, so we are always cleaning and testing things. It is a bit of a loud life, but we like it that way. We don't have a polished front office because we are usually out on the road or in the back room fixing a cable. It is a practical business where things move fast and you have to be ready for anything to change at the last minute.
