Blu Plast

Our shop is over in Ward No. 11 of Asop village. It's a quiet place mostly, though being near the Jama Masjid means we see a lot of people passing by on Fridays. My family started Blu Plast because we saw folks in the Bhopalgarh area needed plastic items for their homes and farms without having to travel all the way to Jodhpur city. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a solid building with what we need inside. Most days it’s just me and a couple of guys handling the inventory. We spend a lot of time unloading trucks when they arrive from the main town. Sometimes the dust gets a bit much, especially when the wind picks up across the district. People come in looking for buckets, pipes, or those big storage containers for their livestock. We usually have a tea in the afternoon while waiting for the sun to go down a bit. It’s a simple way of living for us. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and most of the neighbors know us by name. Dealing with plastic items isn't the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy and serves the village well enough. We try to keep things organized on the shelves, but during busy weeks, stuff tends to pile up in the corners. It’s just how it goes when you’re running a local business on your own. We’re here most mornings till late evening.
