Bijani Art Emporium

You can find us at 288, Street No. 13 in Milkman Colony. It’s off Pal Road, which is usually quite busy with traffic. Bijani Art Emporium is a bit tucked away, but people usually find their way here eventually. The shop is filled with all kinds of things we’ve gathered or made. There are shelves against every wall, and even some things hanging from the ceiling because we ran out of floor space long ago. We don't follow a strict schedule; if we’re here, the door is open. Sometimes we’re just sitting in the back working on a new piece or organizing the inventory. The neighborhood has a lot of families, so we see kids playing on the street outside quite often. It feels more like a home than a business most of the time. We don't do much in the way of big promotions. Most folks hear about us from their neighbors or just happen to walk past on their way somewhere else. We like the slow pace of things in Milkman Colony. The dust from Pal Road drifts in sometimes, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases. It’s a quiet life, mostly, just looking after the art and chatting with whoever wanders in. We’ve been in this same spot for years and don't plan on moving anywhere else anytime soon. It suits us just fine.
