Balsamand Lake Palace

Balsamand Lake Palace is situated on Mandore Road in Jodhpur. We are right by the BSF training centre, which is a big place you cannot miss. Our spot is at 342001. This is an old property and it sits right next to the lake. It is not like the hotels you find in the middle of the city. It is much older and has a lot of stone work that takes a lot of effort to maintain. We have gardens and the water is right there. People come here when they want to be away from the noise of Jodhpur. It is not a modern building at all. It has high ceilings and thick walls that keep it a bit cooler. Sometimes the peacocks make a lot of noise in the morning, which some guests like and others do not. We do not have a big team of corporate managers. It is just us looking after the palace and the grounds. The lake is nice to look at during the evening. We keep things simple and try to preserve what is already here. It is a quiet life out on Mandore Road. We just keep the rooms ready and wait for people to find us. It is a good place if you like old things and a bit of nature near you. We have been here for many years.
