Our unit is located out in the Bichwal Industrial Area at plot F-171. Being in an industrial zone means it is quite a distance from the main city of Bikaner. It is mostly just warehouses and other factories around here. The desert wind blows a lot of sand into our compound, so it is a constant job to keep the place somewhat clean. We spend our days managing the machines and making sure the workers have enough materials to keep going. It is not a glamorous job at all. The constant noise of the machinery is something you just get used to after a week. We have a small area out front for parking the bikes and the occasional trucks that come for pickups. Most of the work we do is routine, but things can get a bit crazy if a motor burns out or a shipment is delayed. We usually eat our lunch together in a small shed we built out the back. The office is just a simple desk with a phone and some old files. We don't do any marketing or have a fancy presentation. People who need what we make know where we are in Bichwal. We just try to do honest work and keep the production line moving. It gets very hot in the summer, but we keep the water coolers full and just keep going.
