Amargarh Resort

If you go down Pal Road toward Ravi Nagar in Jodhpur, you’ll find Amargarh Resort. We are located right opposite Subham Farms, near the Bhadu Market area in Village Pal. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city center, but that’s what makes it different. The property is fairly large and we spend a lot of time just keeping the grounds looking okay. We have different sections for guests, and it can get pretty loud when there is a wedding or a big party going on at the farms across the way. The staff here is mostly local people from the 342001 area. We don't have any corporate scripts to follow. We just talk to people normally. The building itself has that traditional look you see around Rajasthan. We have to deal with the dust and the heat just like everyone else in Jodhpur. Some days are slow and we just sit around the front desk waiting for the phone to ring. Other days, it’s a total scramble to get everything ready for a group. We’ve been at this spot on Pal Road for a good stretch of time. People know us as the place near the market. We don’t do much in terms of self-promotion. We just open the gates in the morning and do what needs doing until the sun goes down. It is what it is.
