Agam Holidays and Resorts operates out of 155 Narayan Bhawan in Subash Chowk. This is the Ratanada area of Jodhpur. If you know Jodhpur, you know Ratanada is a busy spot. Our office is in an old building, Narayan Bhawan, which has a lot of character. We spend our time planning trips and managing our resort properties from here. It’s not always easy. Sometimes the phones won’t stop ringing and other times it’s dead quiet. We have a few desks squeezed into the space and plenty of paper files because we still like having things on paper. Subash Chowk is always lively. You can hear the traffic and the street vendors from our windows. We started this because we liked the idea of showing people around Jodhpur and the rest of the state. It’s grown into a real business now with more responsibilities. We handle bookings, talk to drivers, and make sure the resorts are ready. Our team is just a handful of locals who know the shortcuts around the city. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, one of us just looks up from a computer and says hello. Jodhpur is a beautiful place, especially with the blue houses, but working here means dealing with the heat and the crowds every single day. We just keep our heads down and do the work needed to keep Agam Holidays going.
