Siddi Vinayak Restaurant sits right in Civil Lines, which is a pretty central part of Jhansi. We are actually located above the Axis bank, so you have to walk up the stairs to find us. Being near Khilona talkies means there is always something happening on the street below. We can see the people moving around and the cars parked everywhere from our windows. The place has a decent amount of space, but it gets filled up pretty fast during the afternoon hours. We started this because we wanted a spot where people in Civil Lines could get a meal without too much fuss. The kitchen is tucked away in the back and that is where most of the action happens. My brother and I handle most of the daily stuff, from checking the stock to making sure the billing is right. It is not a corporate setup or anything like that. Just some tables, chairs, and the smell of food cooking. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon, and the menu cards are a bit worn out from so many people handling them. We get a lot of workers from the nearby offices who just want to sit for thirty minutes and eat. Jhansi - 284001 can get really hot in the summer, so our indoor seating is usually where everyone wants to be. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized as best as we can.
