Hulchul restaurant

If you go down Galla Mandi road in Jhansi City, you will find us. We are near the Kailash Residency. The mandi area is always full of life, especially in the mornings when the trucks and vendors are all moving around. We called the place Hulchul because that’s exactly what it’s like around here—lots of activity and noise. It’s a simple restaurant where we serve local food to the people who work in the market or live nearby. We don’t have any big corporate backing or a fancy interior designer. We just put some tables and chairs together and started cooking. The area near Kailash Residency has grown a lot lately, so we see a few more new faces than we used to. Still, most of our customers are the same guys who have been coming for years. They stop in for a quick meal before heading back to the mandi or home. The kitchen gets hot, especially in the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and keep working. We aren't trying to win any awards here. We just want to make sure the food tastes like it’s supposed to and that people leave with full stomachs. It’s a local Jhansi spot through and through. You might see us sitting outside on a plastic chair when things are slow, just watching the traffic go by on Galla Mandi road. It’s a good enough life for us.
