India Dhaba

India Dhaba is located at Elite Choraha in Jhansi. We’re right in front of Ashok Bar, so we are pretty easy to spot if you’re in that part of town. It’s a busy intersection, and there is always something going on outside our door. This isn't a fancy restaurant with air conditioning and white tablecloths. It’s a dhaba. We have basic seating, and the kitchen is usually visible. We’ve been here at 284001 for a long time now. People driving through Jhansi often stop by because of where we are situated near the crossroads. The food is what we know how to cook, nothing too complicated. We don't have a big team of chefs, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. Sometimes it gets a bit smoky from the tandoor, but that's part of the experience. We don't bother with fancy decorations or marketing campaigns. Most of our customers are locals or travelers who just want a quick bite. We try to keep the place clean, but it’s a high-traffic spot, so it’s always a bit of a struggle. The noise from Elite Choraha is constant, but you get used to it after a while. We just show up every morning, get the stoves lit, and start the day. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do here in Jhansi. We hope to serve the same simple meals for a long time to come.
