Poppet G Graduate College

Out here in Pindi, Deoria, we run the Poppet G Graduate College. Serving the local villages around this part of Uttar Pradesh makes up for the trek from the main city. The college is a straightforward building where students come for their degree courses. Every morning, many young people travel from nearby areas on bicycles or buses. In the rainy season, the roads can be a bit difficult, but the students still make it to their classes. Even though the campus is not very large, the rooms are enough for the subjects we teach. Most of the classrooms have high ceilings which help keep the heat away in the summer months. Living nearby, most of our staff understand the life of the students here. Handling admissions, conducting classes, and making sure the exam forms are filled out correctly takes up our days. To be honest, there is a lot of paperwork. During the lunch break, everyone gathers in the courtyard to talk and sit in the sun. Air conditioning and huge computer labs are missing, but the library has the books needed for exams. Our college reflects the slower pace of life in Deoria. Making sure the local kids have a place to get their degrees without moving far away is what we do. As a practical establishment, we do our best with what we have. Reliable is how people in the community know us. Year after year, we keep the routine going for the students of Pindi.
