Kunwar Haribansh Singh College Of Pharmacy is sitting right on the Jaunpur-Varanasi Highway in Maharupur. It is a very convenient spot for anyone living in Jaunpur because the transport is easy along the highway. We built this place because there was a need for a pharmacy college in this part of the district. The building is quite large and has plenty of rooms for all the different labs we need. Pharmacy is a lot about hands-on work, so we spend a lot of our budget on chemicals and lab tools. You’ll see students busy with their experiments most of the day. The teachers here are quite traditional and they expect everyone to be on time and do their work properly. During the summer months, the highway can get quite dusty and noisy, but we are used to it by now. We don't have any big marketing people telling us what to say. We just run the college as best as we can and help the local youth get their degrees. Most of our graduates end up working in pharmacies around Jaunpur or even moving to bigger cities for jobs in medicine factories. It is a simple, hardworking place that doesn't pretend to be anything else. We just open the gates every morning, get the classes started, and make sure everything is ready for the next batch of students who want to join.
