The Regent

The Regent is located over at 23/1 Iswar Babu Lane in the Khagra area of Murshidabad. It’s a place run by Surajit Banerjee and Subhas Banerjee. We’ve been at this address for a long time now. People in the neighborhood usually know where the lane is, right off the main stretch. It’s not some big corporate office or anything like that. Just a local spot where we do our work every day. The building is old but it stays sturdy. We don’t really go in for fancy signs or loud music. It’s mostly just quiet days and getting things done. If you are coming down Iswar Babu Lane, you will find us easily enough. Being in Murshidabad means we see a lot of the same faces, which is nice. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. It’s just a straightforward setup. Surajit and the rest of the family keep things moving along. Sometimes the rain makes the lane a bit muddy, but that’s just life here. We keep our space clean and ready for whoever stops by. There isn’t a whole lot of staff, usually just a couple of us around. We don’t have a big website or anything, so people just find us by the address. It’s a practical way to run a business. We like the pace of things in Khagra. It feels like home to us, and we plan to stay put at 23/1 for the foreseeable future.
