We have our spot at Holding No 779 in the New Sitaramdera area of Jamshedpur. It’s a busy part of town, especially since we are so close to the GEL Church School. Every afternoon, the noise picks up when the students head out, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. This isn't a fancy setup with glass walls or a receptionist. We have some sturdy desks, a lot of files, and a couple of computers that have seen better days. Being in Agrico means we are right in the middle of things, which helps when we need to coordinate our logistics work. Most of us here grew up in Jharkhand, so we know how to navigate the local routes even when the weather gets bad or the roads are blocked. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking manifests. It is mostly just keeping track of where things are and where they need to go next. Sometimes the power cuts out for a bit, but we keep a few torches handy and just wait it out. It’s a practical way to earn a living. We don't spend money on big signs or advertising. People mostly find us because they know where the building is or they’ve seen our trucks in the area. It is just a regular office where we do the work that needs doing every day without making a big fuss about it.
