You can find K S Industries over in the Badrinath Building, which is part of Vijayas Heritage in the Kadma area. Jamshedpur is a city that knows about hard industry, and we are just one small part of that whole world. We’ve been at 1141 for some years now. It’s a solid building, and our space is mostly filled with equipment, grease, and raw materials. We don't have a fancy reception area with a secretary. When you walk in, you're usually walking right into where the actual work is happening. There’s always the smell of oil and metal in the air, which is pretty normal for us. We do a lot of small-scale manufacturing and processing here. It’s the kind of work that requires you to get your hands dirty every single day. We have a small group of workers who have been doing this for a long time. They know the machines better than anyone else does. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in town. We just want to do our jobs and go home at the end of the shift. The neighborhood is okay, and we have good relations with the other businesses in the building. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a batch for a customer, but that's just part of the trade. It's a practical life here, nothing too exciting or special, but it keeps the lights on and the families fed. We just take things one day at a time.
