Jagran Prakashan

We are Jagran Prakashan, based out of House Number 205, Quarter 10, in the Mango area of Jharkhand. This is a residential neighborhood, so it’s a bit quieter than being right in the middle of Jamshedpur. Our setup here is quite functional. We focus on getting the news and information out to the local community. It’s a lot of logistics, really. We have people coming in early to coordinate the distribution. The office is inside a regular house, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a big corporate building. There’s a small courtyard where we sometimes sit to have tea. We’ve been part of this community for a long time now. Most of our neighbors know what we do. It’s not a fancy operation with bright lights and big signs. We just have our desks, our phones, and the daily schedules to follow. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just carry on as best as we can. Working in Mango is nice because you get to know everyone on the street. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company in the world, just one that does its job right every day for the people living nearby. It’s a lot of paper and ink and making sure the vans are ready to go before the sun comes up. It is just our daily routine and we are happy with it. Usually, we finish the main work by noon.
