Hotel Green Horizon

If you walk down Station Road in Ranchi you will find us pretty easily. Being right near the station means there is always something going on outside. We get a lot of people coming in right off the trains looking for a place to put their bags down for a night or two. The lobby usually has someone waiting or checking out and the staff is always moving around with linens or keys. It is a busy environment because the trains don't really stop for anyone. We spend a lot of time making sure the rooms are ready for the next person who walks in. It isn't a quiet library kind of place. You can hear the city outside and the sounds of people traveling. We have been on Station Road for a long time and we have seen the city change quite a bit from our front door. The building has its own character and it's not like those brand new glass hotels that all look the same. We just provide a spot for people to stay when they are passing through Ranchi. Some folks stay for work and others are just visiting family. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just make sure the lights are on and the rooms are clean enough for whoever needs them. It is a practical place for practical people who just want to be near the railway station.
