We’ve been over here at the Refugee Market in Sakchi for a while now. Most people around Jamshedpur know us because of Chandan Cards, which is where it all really kicked off for us. It’s a busy spot, especially during the wedding seasons when everyone is running around trying to get things sorted. We decided to get into the planning side of things because we saw how much stress families were under just to get a simple function going. It’s not just about the invitations anymore. We spend a lot of our days talking to vendors and making sure the flowers show up on time and the lights aren't flickering. Our shop is easy to find right in the middle of the market. If you’ve ever walked through Sakchi, you’ve probably passed by us without even thinking about it. We aren't a big fancy office with glass walls, just a regular place where we sit down with a cup of tea and talk about what needs doing for a party or a wedding. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic in the market, but that’s just how it is here. We like being part of the local community. It feels good when a neighbor comes in and asks for help with their kid’s birthday or a big family wedding. We just try to get the work done without making a big fuss out of it. It’s what we do.
