We’ve got stuff that’s meant for grinding and smoothing down hard surfaces, so it’s not exactly a delicate or clean environment. The building itself is an older style, and we’ve been here long enough that we know every creak in the floorboards and every drafty window. Patel Colony is a decent enough spot, mostly quiet except for when we’re moving stock around or loading up a van. The office has that old-school feel with heavy wooden desks and metal cupboards that have seen better days. We don’t spend much on decorations because we’re usually too busy looking at product specs or checking orders on the computer. There’s a lot of grey and brown around here, mostly because of the materials we handle. It gets on your clothes and your hands by the end of the day, no matter how careful you are. We have a small crew and everyone has been here a long time, so we don’t need to say much to get things done. We just show up, handle the grit and the grime, and make sure the customers get what they ordered. It’s straightforward work in a plain building. We don’t try to make it look like something it’s not. It’s just an industrial shop doing its thing.
