Jagdish Engineering Works

We have our shop set up at Plot No. 482-2 in Phase-1 of the GIDC at Shankar Tekri. Jagdish Engineering Works has been around this specific neighborhood for a long time now. It is a noisy place to work, mostly because the lathes and the welding machines are running for most of the day. We do a lot of heavy metal work and repairs here. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings or a bit of oil, no matter how many times we try to sweep it up. It is just the way things are in an engineering shop. We do not have a fancy office with air conditioning or nice furniture. We mostly just have a small wooden desk near the main entrance where we keep the blueprints and the daily invoices. If you come by to see us, you will probably hear the sound of the hammers before you even see the building. We are a small crew of workers, and most of us have worked together for many years. We know these machines inside and out. Shankar Tekri is a bit of a rough and tumble industrial area, and we fit in just fine. We do not spend any time or money on fancy brochures or advertisements. Most people find us because they know we can handle the heavy repairs and the custom parts that other places might not want to touch. It is honest, physical work. Sometimes we stay late when a customer has a machine that broke down and they need a quick fix. We do not mind the extra hours.
