Crystal Industries

Crystal Industries is based in Jamnagar, specifically at Plot No 370 in GIDC-2, Dared. If you’ve ever been to this part of Jamnagar, you know it’s the heart of the brass and parts industry. Our building is just one of many in this long row of industrial units. We’ve been here for a few years now. The dust from the neighboring factories sometimes blows in, so we are always cleaning the surfaces. We do manufacturing work, mostly stuff that requires a lot of turning and cutting. It’s a practical business. We don't have a big reception area or anyone to answer phones with a script. Usually, someone just yells for me if the phone rings while I’m in the back. The heat in the summer can be pretty tough inside the unit, but we have some big fans that help a little bit. We take our Sundays off to rest, but the rest of the week is pretty much non-stop. We get our raw materials delivered every Tuesday and Friday usually. The guys working here have been friends for a long time, so it feels more like a small community than a corporate office. We just try to get the dimensions right and make sure everything is packed up properly for the customers. It is honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until evening.
