Ace Precimake (India)

Down at Shankar Tekri in the GIDC, you'll find us at Shed No. 11-2. Ace Precimake (India) has been operating out of this spot for a good while. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here depending on where you're coming from, but it's a solid industrial area. We do a lot of precision work, or at least we try to keep everything as tight as possible. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by noon. We sweep it up, then start again the next day. It’s hard work, and the summer heat in the shed can be something else entirely. We have a small crew. Everyone knows their job and we don't need much talking to get things moving. Sometimes the orders come in all at once and we have to put in extra hours. Other times it’s a bit slower and we catch up on maintenance. We aren't trying to be world-beaters, just a reliable shop that does what it says. You won't find any glossy brochures here. We spend our money on the tools and the materials instead. It’s a bit noisy with the machines running, but that’s the sound of work getting done. If you drop by, you’ll probably see us in greasy overalls. That’s just the nature of the business. We like it here in Shankar Tekri; it feels like a place where things actually get made. We just focus on the parts on the bench and getting them finished right.
