Parshotam Dayalji & Co.

You can find us at Shed No. 55 over in Shanker Tekri. It’s part of the Udyog Nagar industrial area, which is always a bit dusty and loud. We are located near Hirji Mistry Road, so there is a lot of movement around here throughout the day. Parshotam Dayalji & Co. has been operating out of this shed for quite some time. It’s not a large space, but we make use of every inch of it. We deal with various industrial supplies and parts. The metal roof makes a lot of noise when it rains, which can be distracting, but you get used to it. There is always a stack of crates near the entrance waiting to be loaded onto a truck. The lighting inside isn't the brightest, but we have some lamps over the main work areas. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and checking on stock. The floor is concrete and has some cracks here and there from moving heavy equipment over the years. We keep a small desk in the corner for the paperwork, though it’s usually buried under invoices. It’s a gritty kind of job and we don't try to pretend it’s anything else. Most of the neighbors in Udyog Nagar are doing similar work, so we all know the drill. It’s just how we make our living, day in and day out.
