Imperial Brass Component

Out here in Jamnagar, at H-3561 in GIDC Phase III, the air always smells a bit like metal and machinery. We are located at Bhagyoday Chowk in the Dared area. Imperial Brass Component is basically a workshop where we deal with brass parts all day long. It gets pretty hot in Gujarat, especially during the summer, so the fans in the shop are always running. We have a lot of machines and tools cluttering up the floor, but everyone knows where everything is. It’s a practical environment. We don't spend money on fancy lobby furniture because that's not what we're about. The work is mostly about precision and getting the dimensions right on the brass pieces we make. Most of the guys here have grease on their hands by lunch. We’ve been in this part of Jamnagar for quite some time, and we’re used to the industrial noise of the GIDC. It’s not the kind of place you’d come for a quiet chat, but it’s where we get things done. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just look at the orders for the day and start the machines. Sometimes things break and we have to fix them ourselves. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. People around Dared know us as just another local business doing its thing.
