A.Mansukhlal & Co.

Our office is located on K.V. Road, right across from the P.W.D. Office. It’s a landmark everyone knows, so people don’t usually get lost finding A.Mansukhlal & Co. The building is older, and the stairs have that worn-down look from years of people walking up and down. We’ve been operating from this spot for a long time. Inside, the shelves are heavy with ledgers and old files that go back years. We don't have those modern desks you see in the city. Ours are heavy wood and have seen a lot of use. The fans hum on the ceiling all day long. Being opposite the government office means there is always a lot of movement outside. Cars and motorcycles are constantly coming and going. Sometimes it’s a bit noisy, but we are used to the sounds of the street. We handle our business in a straightforward way. There’s no big reception area or coffee machine. If someone comes in, they just sit on the wooden chairs and we talk about whatever needs doing. We keep things organized in our own way, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. It’s a practical space for practical work. K.V. Road has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the decades, but the work we do stays the same. We just open up in the morning, do our tasks, and head home.
