Jammu University

We’re located at H-No Mcj-204 on Street Number 23 in Jammu. It’s a bit of a specific spot, tucked into the neighborhood with the 180001 pin code. Even though everyone knows the big University of Jammu campus, our little corner here handles some of the more specific administrative tasks. It feels more like a house than a big institution building. We’ve got desks set up in the rooms and we spend most of our time going through records and student files. It’s a lot of reading and typing. The street outside can get a bit noisy with traffic and people going about their business, but inside we just keep our heads down and work. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just what we need to get the records straight. Sometimes the printer jams and we have to spend twenty minutes fixing it, which is just part of the day. We’ve been at this address for a while and the neighbors know us. It’s a very practical kind of job. We aren't doing big research or teaching classes here; we’re just the ones making sure the paperwork side of things doesn't fall apart. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just try to keep things moving as smoothly as we can in this little Jammu street and help out the students whenever they call us.
