Gesar Travel

Our office is over at No. 16 in the Hemis Complex, which is on Upper Tukcha Road. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time. We handle the usual travel stuff like tickets and planning for people who want to see the sights or just get from one place to another. Gesar Travel isn't one of those massive online companies. We’re just here in the complex. Sometimes it gets busy when the season changes and everyone wants to go somewhere at the same time. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at schedules. The post box is 107 if anyone still sends actual mail. Most people just walk in though. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks and maps and plenty of tea. We know the roads and the best ways to get around this part of the world because we live here too. It’s practical work, really. Making sure the cars are ready and the dates line up right. If someone’s looking for a specific trip, we sit down and figure out what’s possible. Upper Tukcha Road has its own pace, and we just fit into that. We’ve seen a lot of travelers come through these doors over the years. Some are just passing through, others are locals heading out for a break. We just try to get the details right so nobody gets stuck. It’s a simple business but it keeps us on our toes every single day.
