Our office is tucked away in Bhawni Nagar, right in Lane 14 in Janipur. It’s 133/B if you’re looking for the house number. Being in a residential-ish lane means it’s a bit quieter than the main road, which is nice when we’re trying to go over insurance papers or talk to people about their accounts. We’ve been here in Jammu for a good bit now. The space is a bit cramped with all the desks and files, but it works for us. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for people to drop by. Most of our day is spent on the computer or filling out forms by hand. Sometimes the internet is slow and we just have to sit and chat for a minute while things load. It’s not a big glass building like you might see in a movie; it’s just a regular Jammu office. We know the people who live around here and the shopkeepers at the end of the lane. When someone comes in, we just sit them down and explain how things work without using too much jargon. It’s straightforward work. We handle the paperwork, send it off, and try to make sure everything is in order. It’s a steady routine here in Janipur, and we’re just a small part of the neighborhood doing our daily bit. We keep the doors open and just take it one customer at a time.
