Hello Kids

Hello Kids over here in Ews Colony, Lower Roop Nagar is a pretty lively spot. If you’re familiar with this part of Jammu, you know it’s a residential area where everyone kind of knows what’s going on next door. Our school is right in the middle of that. We opened up here because there were so many families needing a place for their children to go during the day. It’s not a huge building, but we’ve made the most of the rooms we have. The walls are covered in drawings that the kids made, some better than others, but we keep them all up anyway. We have a small outdoor area where they can run around for a bit before the sun gets too sharp. Usually, the staff arrives early to sweep the front and get the classrooms ready. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that, it’s just a few of us doing the teaching and cleaning. Sometimes the supply delivery is late or a tap starts leaking, but we just fix it and move on. It’s a practical place. We focus on the basics like counting, letters, and just learning how to sit still for ten minutes. Parents often stop to chat for a few minutes at the gate, which sometimes slows things down, but it’s nice to have that connection with the neighborhood. It’s a good little community.
