Dream House Creche Cum Preparatory School

We started this place in Qamarwari quite a while ago. It's a small building right here in Srinagar. People know us for taking in kids when parents are at work. It gets busy in the mornings with everyone dropping off their little ones. We have different rooms for the creche and the older kids who are getting ready for regular school. Some days are loud, especially when it rains and everyone has to stay inside. We just try to keep things organized. The walls have some drawings on them, and we have basic toys and desks. It’s not fancy. Most of the staff live nearby, so they know the families around here. We spend a lot of time on the basics, like counting and simple words. Lunchtime is always a bit of a mess, but we manage to get everyone fed. We’ve seen many kids grow up and move on to the big schools in the city. The school is easy to find if you are in the area. Sometimes the power goes out, but we keep going with whatever we have. We focus on making sure the kids are safe and looked after while they learn a few things. It’s a lot of work every day. We don’t have a big office or anything like that, just a desk where we handle the paperwork. That’s pretty much how we run things here in our corner of Srinagar.
