Kids Dreaming World School

Our school, Kids Dreaming World School, is located in Village Khod Deanian, which is part of the Miran Sahib area in Jammu. It’s a bit of a rural setting, so things are a little slower here than in the middle of the city. We’ve been operating in this village for a good while, serving the families who live nearby. The school building is simple and sits among the local houses and some open fields. Every morning, you see the kids walking in from the neighborhood or being dropped off on the back of bikes. We have a small playground where they spend their breaks, and you can hear their shouting and laughter across the village. The classrooms are basic but they have what we need to get through the day's lessons and activities. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; we just know everyone in the village and they know us by name. The teachers are mostly local people too. We spend our time checking homework, cleaning the chalkboards, and making sure the kids stay out of trouble during the day. It’s a very grounded way of life for all of us. When the rainy season comes, the roads can get a bit muddy and difficult, but the kids still show up for class. We just keep the doors open and do our best to teach them something new every single day. It’s a small, community-focused school where everyone knows each other.
