Shemrock Brainiacs

We are over at House No 89 in Sector 4 of Trikuta Nagar. It’s a quiet residential part of Jammu, and Shemrock Brainiacs is basically a house turned into a learning space for the little ones. Being in the 180012 area means we see a lot of the same neighbors every day. The setup is quite simple. We have rooms for different activities and a small area where the kids can play outside when it's not too hot. Since it’s a house, it feels a bit more relaxed than those big institutional buildings. We have a small staff of local women who look after the children. We aren't trying to be some high-end corporate center. It’s just a place where parents can drop their kids off knowing they’ll be in a familiar neighborhood. The floors are often covered in toys or drawings by the end of the day. We spend a lot of time just talking with the parents at the gate. There’s no formal reception desk or anything fancy. You just walk up to the door. We keep the place clean and safe, but it looks like a lived-in space. That’s how we like it. It fits into the rhythm of Trikuta Nagar. Sometimes the kids get a bit loud, but the neighbors are used to it. It’s just a regular part of life here in Jammu, helping the kids get started before they go to big school.
