Vatsalya is tucked away at 198 Upper Bazar in Jammu. If you are looking for us, we are quite close to Chowk Chubtra. It’s a busy part of the city, and our location is right in the heart of all that activity. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building itself has a bit of history to it. It’s not a large facility, but we’ve managed to make the most of the space we have. Inside, you’ll find some basic classrooms where we sit with the students. There is nothing fancy about the decor; it’s mostly just functional furniture and some old cupboards filled with papers. We started Vatsalya because we wanted a local spot for education right here in Upper Bazar. The street noise is just part of the background music here. Sometimes people get confused by the house numbers, but once you find Chowk Chubtra, you’re basically there. We have a regular routine that we follow every day, opening up in the morning and seeing the last students off in the evening. It’s hard work, but it feels right being part of the local scene. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and making sure our space is ready for whoever comes in. It’s a very human, local business through and through, and we plan to stay that way.
