Hdfc Bank

This branch is located at 290 Jawahar Nagar in the New Plots area of Jammu. It’s a busy spot, especially on the first of the month when everyone is coming in. We handle the usual bank stuff—accounts, deposits, and people asking about their balances. It’s not always glamorous. We spend a lot of time behind the counters or at the desks. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a blessing in the summer. We’ve got a mix of regular customers who have been coming here for years and new faces who just moved to the 180005 area. It gets loud sometimes when the queue is long. We just try to keep things moving as fast as we can without making mistakes. Banking has changed a lot with all the apps, but people still come in to talk to a person when something goes wrong with their money. We’ve seen the neighborhood grow over the years. The New Plots area has its own vibe. We aren't some big corporate headquarters, just a local branch where we know many of our customers by name. Sometimes the systems go down and we have to tell everyone to wait, which is never fun. But mostly, it’s just a steady stream of people and paper. We’re just here doing the job, day in and day out, right there in Jawahar Nagar.
