Hdfc Bank Ltd. is situated at MM-182 in Sector D1 of the LDA Colony, which is on Kanpur Road in Lucknow. This part of Lucknow is always busy because of the main road nearby. The traffic on Kanpur Road is something we deal with every single morning. Our office is in the LDA Colony, which is a mix of residential and small commercial spots. MM-182 is a plain building that serves our purposes well. It is not a tall tower; it is just a functional space. Inside, we have our desks and the usual bank equipment set up. The air conditioning struggles a bit when the Lucknow summer really hits, but we manage. We get a lot of local people coming in from the colony. It feels very much like a neighborhood bank. We know a lot of the customers by their first names. It is not a cold, corporate environment. We have files stacked up and people talking across desks. The building itself has some wear and tear, but it is sturdy. We spend our days here processing papers and talking to folks about their accounts. There is always a tea stall nearby where we get our fix during the day. It is a very normal, everyday kind of place. We don't have any flashy decorations. We just focus on the work that needs to be done for the people who live and work around Kanpur Road.
