This particular office is situated at 5-Ai, Savitry Enclave, which sits along the VIP Road in Zirakpur. It is a bit of an interesting spot because Zirakpur is always growing so fast and there is always some construction or new shop popping up nearby. Being in Mohali district means we get a lot of people coming in from different parts of Punjab for various reasons. The Savitry Enclave area is mostly quiet compared to the main highway traffic, which is nice when we are trying to get work finished. We spend most of our time dealing with the usual administrative tasks that come with being a government branch. There is a lot of paper moving back and forth and plenty of stamps being used every single day. We don't have any flashy signs or anything. It's just a functional space where the staff comes in, drinks their tea, and handles the files on their desks. The address might seem a bit specific if you aren't from around here, but once you find VIP Road, it's not too hard to track down the enclave. We keep a regular schedule, starting in the morning and staying until the work is caught up. It isn't always exciting, but it is steady work and we have been at this location long enough that the local shopkeepers know who we are. We just focus on the task at hand without much fuss at the Government Of India office.
