Dreamland Travels

We are located at Shop Number 09, which is on the first floor. It’s right near the General Bus Stand in Jammu, so it’s a very active area throughout the day. If you see the Modern Hotel, you know you’re in the right place. Dreamland Travels is what we call the business. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, but once you’re up here, it’s a bit quieter than the street below. Being near the bus stand means we see everyone from everywhere. People are coming in from the villages or heading out to the mountains. It’s a lot of different faces every single day. I’ve lived in Jammu 180001 for a long time, so I know the shortcuts and the best ways to get around. We don’t try to be something we’re not. We just provide travel help from our little office. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the chairs are a bit old, but they are comfortable enough for a chat. It’s a practical business. We deal with the buses and the local transport mostly. Every morning we open up and see the same street vendors setting up their stalls outside. It’s a familiar routine that I’ve grown to like. We don’t use fancy slogans, we just talk to people and figure out what they need for their journey. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy.
