Centurion Bank Of Punjab

Our branch is located at H.No.-3 in Indira Colony, right on Camp Road in Talab Tillo. It’s a bit of a different setup being in a house like that, but it makes the place feel more like part of the neighborhood. People from around Talab Tillo come in to do their banking, and since we’re in Indira Colony, we see a lot of the same locals every week. It’s not one of those massive banks with fifty counters. We have a few desks and some chairs for people to wait in. The work is mostly just handling deposits, checking books, and helping people with their accounts. It’s a lot of manual entry and double-checking numbers. Sometimes the power goes out in Jammu and we have to wait for the backup to kick in so we can use the computers again. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed for a bank. We don't use a lot of big words or try to sell people things they don't need. We just help them with their money and keep the records straight. Being on Camp Road means there’s always something going on outside, but inside we just focus on the ledgers and the people standing in front of us. It’s a simple, honest way to run a branch, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of this neighborhood.
