Avantr Software Private Limited is found over at 243 Post Office Lane in Puran Ngr, which is in the New Plot area of Jammu. It’s a narrow lane, so you have to be careful when you’re driving down it. Our office is just a regular building among many others in this residential and commercial mix. We’ve been here for some time now, and we’ve grown to like the neighborhood quite a bit. It’s a busy spot, with the post office nearby and people always walking up and down the lane. Inside, we have our desks lined up and some old filing cabinets that we should probably replace one day. We do software work, which mostly involves a lot of sitting and staring at screens for hours at a time. It’s not very glamorous, but it’s what we know how to do. The humidity in Jammu can be tough, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We don't have any big corporate signs or a fancy lobby to greet people. If someone comes by, they usually just walk right in and talk to us. We’re just a group of regular people who happen to work with software. It’s a practical workspace for a practical business, and that’s exactly how we like it. We hope to stay in the 180005 zip code area for many more years to come.
