Stepcoder

Stepcoder is located in Sanjay Nagar. It’s a fairly quiet neighborhood, which is good for the kind of work we do. We mostly spend our time writing code and building things on the computer. The office is just a simple room in Sanjay Nagar where we have our setups and a few books. We don't have a big sign outside or anything like that. Most people who come here already know where we are or they’ve been told by someone else. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We wear regular clothes and sometimes we work late into the night if we’re stuck on a problem. There’s a small park nearby where we sometimes go for a walk when our eyes get tired from the screens. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just write the scripts and make sure everything runs the way it’s supposed to. Sanjay Nagar has a nice feel to it, and we like being based here instead of in one of those huge office parks. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We handle everything ourselves, from answering the emails to fixing the bugs. It’s just a small group of us trying to do good work without making a big deal out of it. Sometimes we have lunch together at the small shop around the corner, and then it's back to the keyboards. It’s a simple life, but the work is interesting enough to keep us busy every day.
