Arena Multimedia

Up in Jammu, at Kachhi Chauni, things are always on the move. We’re tucked into the Luthra Building. Sushanta Biswal is the one usually handling things here at Arena Multimedia. It’s a busy street outside with lots of shops and people walking by. Our space is filled with computers and students trying to learn things like design or editing. It’s not a fancy studio. It feels more like a workshop where people are actually doing stuff. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the stairs up to the office are a bit steep. We don't have a big marketing team telling us what to say. We just show up, turn on the machines, and get to it. Sometimes the internet is slow, which is frustrating, but we deal with it. It gets cold in the winter, so we have a small heater that doesn't really do much. But we like it here. It's a good spot in a central part of town. We don’t promise anyone the world. We just provide the space and the tools for folks to work on their projects. It’s a straightforward operation. We have our routines and we stick to them. Most of the time, it’s just the sound of clicking mice and keyboards. It's a bit noisy when everyone is talking at once, but that is how learning goes in a place like this.
