We are right in the middle of Chabutra Bazar. If you’ve been there, you know it’s a tight squeeze with all the vendors and people walking through. Our shop is small but we’ve been here for a while. It’s one of those places where you know all the neighbors. We open up early in the morning when the market starts waking up. It’s mostly just us handling the daily customers. The space is a bit cramped because of all the stock we keep on the shelves. We don’t have a website or anything like that, we just talk to people who walk in. Some days it’s really busy and other days we just sit and drink tea while watching the street. The building is old, like most of the ones in this part of town. We fix things as they break. We don't use any fancy systems for our accounts, just a ledger and a pen mostly. It works for us. People come here because they know we are reliable and we've been around. We don't do any advertising. Word of mouth is how most people find us. It’s a simple life in the bazar. We close up when the sun goes down and the crowds start to thin out. It’s just how things are done here in the old market. We keep the lights on until the last customer leaves, then we lock the metal shutters and go home.
