If you ever find yourself at the Main Chowk in Sector 2, you might have seen our sign for Ag Northern Tour And Travels. We’ve got this office at 20/B where we handle a lot of the local travel stuff for folks in Jammu. It’s right in the middle of Trikuta Nagar, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving about outside. We mostly help people figure out how to get from one town to the next without spending too much money or getting lost. Most of the time, it’s just us sitting here checking schedules and seeing which drivers are free for the day. We don't have a big team of people in suits. It is just a few of us who know the northern routes well. People come in asking about tours to the mountains or just a quick ride to the station. We try to be honest about how long the drive will actually take because the mountain roads can be a bit of a mess sometimes. It’s a practical business. We don't use any fancy talk or try to sell you things you don't need. If the car is old, we say it's old. If the road is blocked, we tell you to wait. It is just about getting people where they need to go. We’ve been at this spot for a good bit now and it feels like home to us, working right in the heart of the chowk every day.
