Jaydeb Agro Mill Private Limited

Over at Domohani More in the Marich Bari area, you will find Jaydeb Agro Mill Private Limited. This mill has been part of our local landscape for a long time now. It is run by Ananda Ch. Paul, who is the son of the late Jaydeb Paul. We kept the name because it means something to us and the community. We are in Jalpaiguri, and the atmosphere here is exactly what a local agro mill should be like. The machines make a lot of noise and there is always a layer of dust from the grain in the air, but that is just part of the job. We handle much of the local harvest, processing it so it is ready for the market. It is hard, physical work and the days can be very long, especially when the trucks are lined up outside the gates waiting to unload. Ananda is usually somewhere near the machines, making sure everything is running the way it should or talking to the farmers who have come in. We have been at the 735302 location for many years and the people around here know us well. It is not some high-tech, modern facility. It is a place where we use our hands and our experience to get things done. We really value the history of the mill and the long-term connections we have with the families who bring their grain to us.
