Our shop is on Sodal Road, just a short walk from the Sodal Mandir. It’s a convenient spot for people living around Jalandhar City. We do a lot of different things here, from basic threading to hair styling and party makeup. It’s usually pretty busy, especially during the wedding season or when there’s a festival at the mandir nearby. The space isn't huge but we've made it work for us over the years. We have a few mirrors and the lighting is decent enough to see what we're doing. It gets a bit hectic in the afternoons when everyone wants their work done at once. We don't use any high-tech gadgets, just the tools that work for us. The neighborhood is always lively, and we get to hear all the local news from the ladies who stop by. It’s nice to be part of the community here. We try to keep things tidy, but with hair and powder everywhere, it’s a constant job. You won’t find any big corporate vibes here. It’s just us doing our jobs and chatting with whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud, but they keep us cool enough. If you know where the temple is, you won't have any trouble finding us. We’ve been at this for a while now and we just take each day as it comes. It's a bit of a squeeze when it's full but we manage to get through it and keep things moving.
